Ive noticed that in many posts, mostly in Hot Deals, that people just cant seem to be nice. Specifically if someone posts something that is quite where it should be. Some of the most annoying things are comments lie:

"You know what to do Mods"

"LOCK IT" etc...

what is the deal with all of these very men spirited wannabe mods? I think that comments like that should be discouraged, just as "in before the lock" is. Also, it would be nice if we could encourage each other to be a little more civil, even when we dont agree, or wehn we are correcting each other..

Im SURE, this topic has been brought up before, but obviously it is still a problem, so im bringing it up again. If you disagree with me, thats fine, but please dont waste our time with flames. You can flame me in PM if you really need to, but dont taint the discussion with your immaturity or bad attitude.

It's just the HD crowd. They don't represent the overall AT crowd (I'd be willing to bet at least 50% never leave the HD forum). As a rule they're pretty terrible in the manners department. I try not to let it bother me 🙂
 
I'm reasonably certain that bad manners is also a feature in Off Topic. Maybe it's like the SETI contest, only it's a bad manner contest between HD and OT.
 
Hehe, a couple of you guys caught me on that one. I have to admit that was pretty cranky of me, but we all have our bad moments and im willing to admit it. That doenst change the fact, that there seems to be a pretty pervasive bad attitude in HD
 
I personally think alll those nasty leaching hot dealers need to be banned. They are just a bunch of wannabe leachers, who give AT a bad name!
