Apparently you had to use other criteria for selecting a leader, friend, employee, etc.

Churchill wasn't as much of a boozehound as he was perceived to be. One of his tactics was to mix a glass with a few shots of Scotch and fill the rest with water; he then would sip from the same glass throughout the evening. He also often chewed on cigars but rarely smoked them.

Or so I've been told.

In any event, I'd vote for Churchill.
