I play bass and lead guitar, I learn songs by listening to a song over and over again, it would make it easier, particularly on solo's... if I could slow them down until I learn them. Is there such a beast that would allow me to slow my beats down when learning to play them? It doesn't nessecarily have to be a winamp plug-in, I'm open for suggestions, Please help.

Goldwave will do what you want, but the pitch changes when the speed changes (which maybe you don't want).

I would suggest you check out the following link. Lots of audio programs. Saw some under DJ Tools that look like they might do what you want.

There used to be a plugin that came with winamp that allowed you to do that. I dont remember what it was called, but it did come with winamp... its been a while, so I dunno if the newest version has it still

You probably dont want the pitch to change just the tempo, that would be called a Time strech or a Key adjust feature, there are few players that have this but from what i hear i know a wannabee dj software called AtomixMP3 has this, its really kool since pitch dosent change....
