Question: Is changing a mod-quote even possible?

If the mods edit a message into your post, can you then change it?

And is it a bannable offense?

i'm not sure why you'd want to, but as long as the mod doesn't lock the thread, you're able to edit your own post, regardless of who posted in it.

<---wonders if he has a nice mod watching him ;)

Used to be able to.

If you do edit it in an offencive way, I guess you would get banned. Other then that... it all depends on who the mod is. :)

The other thing to watch for would be to see who last edited the message. If the message has a mod quote, but was last edited by the original poster, that quote is suspect. (This is one of several reasons why I believe Geekbabe is a mod, despite her denial.)

You mean like this Astaroth33?
