Question in WIn2k

Hey guys...got a question in win2k. I heard that there are a lot of tasks running in the background when your admin or a power user is that true? If so how do you disable those tasks or programs running in the background and which ones should be up/running and which ones should be disabled? Thanks guys in advance!
 
You can test this by creating a user with just "user" rights and logging in as that user. Then hit "ctrl+alt+del" and choose Task Manager, then in Task Manager the Processes Tab. That will give you a list of what's running. Write down what's running as User vs. as Administrator. I've never heard that there is a difference, and I've never noticed a difference in speed, but you never know...
