I'm planning on buying a asus K8V MOTHERBOARD which support the athlon 64, my question

Can i still use WINDOWS XP DOES IT MATTER WHETHER ITS HOME EDITION OR PROFESSIONAL, with the athlon 64 bit chip.??????????????????????

Windows 98, 2000, XP any version, Linux, its doesn;t matter.

Edit I have a quad boot on my Athlon64, 98, 2000, XP professional and XP 64 bit beta.

There is a free preview of WinXP 64 bit free download on microsofts website.... do a search for the link if you want to use it.

Yes you can use any version of Windows XP. Of course you won't be able to use any of the 64-bit features until you get a 64-bit operating system.
