(Question) Illegal Aliens to get Social Security???

I heard Mike Savage on the radio saying that G.W. signed a bill giving $345M in Social Security to illegal aliens in the US.. I haven't been able to verify this through a reputable news outlet, anyone else hear about this? Is it true?

Always recheck things you heard from a radio show, especially if it was a factoid from a caller.

Harvest laborers in the US are mostly mexican migrant workers. The employers (american farmers) would hold SS wage from worker's wage and send it to IRS.

He signed the bill. That means he wasn't the one to create it. Or the one to lobby for it. Or the one to vote on it. Or the one to approve it. Or the one to send it to the other half of the government to get it approved. Or the one to lobby for it on the other side. Or the one to vote on it on the other side. Or the one to approve it on the other side, making it possible for the bill to go across his desk.

Sorry, it's not millions, it's billions...

(If top officials at the State Department and Social Security Administration have their way, up to $345 billion ? or more ? could be siphoned from the Social Security "trust fund" over the next couple of decades, mostly to pay benefits to Mexican citizens who worked illegally in the United States.)

For that money they could rent the shuttle and go back to their planet, whatever it is! heheh...

My point was that he wasn't the reason the bill was created. He didn't pass it in both houses. Both houses also had the ability to decline the bill. It went through. There are three parts to a bill becoming law... both houses ratifying it and coming to an agreement, and the President coming to an agreement with them. He, in no way, has more or less power than they do.

....that's.... how the government works, folks.

Uh... yeah they do. When you become a legal citizen, you get a SSN. And, like the thing is talking about, the money would go to legal citizens living in other countries.

They used fake SSN#'s, and it went into a "pool".. maybe eventually they'll get amnesty (read: instant citizenship), and find some way to proove they are owed the money.. (RIIIIGGggghhhttt......)..
