Not necessarily. Depends on the pill take and how soon after sex it was taken. Some of the pills work by forcing a sloughing of the endometriotic lining and flushing it out of the system AFTER the fertilized egg has been implanted there.

The morning after pill takes effect BEFORE the egg is fertilized though... or at least before anything actually grows. Fetus or not you right to lifer's can't argue about killing an egg and blood cells on this one without looking incredibly insane.

On another note, i kill millions of little lives which we call sperm every day.... 😀

Actually, to the crybabies out there who think I'm killing a baby, I'm asking for precautionary reasons - just "in case" something happens. Not because something already did happen, you may now shut up and walk away, thank you, please come again 😉

I know that I did. That's why I tried to end it. No need to be rude. I thought that people's opinions were welcome, and I offered mine. Guess I was wrong, no opinions allowed.

So, END ABORTION TALK. Apparently, opinions have to be kept to ourselves.

Edit: I do realize that this may have been the wrong place to start a debate, but I don't like being told to shut up. But I will stop voicing my views, since I don't have the time to sit here forever debating things with people who won't listen.

When you go to a public forum asking about a contraversial topic expect opposing opinions. Sorry this is life, get over it. If you're absolutely sure about your point of view then their comments shouldn't matter, the fact it strikes a nerve in some people is telling (to me at least) that somewhere you think there's some truth to their comments.

My opinions are not solely rooted in the morning after pill. If it didn't exist, I would still have the same convictions.

The reason I said that RU 486 was the morning after pill was that I remember hearing on the news a few years ago about the RU 486, and they mentioned the morning after pill, so I made the connection. RU 486 is now nicknamed "the abortion pill", and it is basically the same as the morning after, it just works a larger window of effectiveness.
 
Haven't you learned yet that the same liberals who preach about tolerance are the most intolerant people on the planet? They just hate it when someone expresses an opinion that differs with theirs. Damn conservatives, we should just keep our mouths shut and not say anything we believe. Ok libbys you can calm down now and go back to reading Heather Has Two Mommies or whatever other mind warping garbage is on the liberal best selling list.

Yep...most big cities will have at least one. Check the phone book...no questions asked, and in a discreet brown paper bag...
 
Always carry condoms. If you think you're gonna get some be sure to have that "glove" handy.
It's not just the risk of getting a girl pregnant, there is the risk of getting an std.
Getting AIDS because you didn't wear a condom is a hell of a lousy way to die.

There are new condoms that don't reduce the feel during intercourse.
Also if you and your partner are monogamous and both have been tested for stds you can get the Trojan Naturalamb Condoms.Trojan Naturalamb condoms.
They don't protect against stds though.

and give her instructions on taking it over the phone,scheduling a follow up visit for later if
