Question: how to come up with symbols using keyboard?

I'm making a flyer, and I need to come up with the "trademark" (tm) sign - I know you can use the keypad to use it, but it requires some inane combination that I can't think of . . . and it's not in a word processing document, so it's kinda hard to cut & paste . . . .

Anyone care to help?

1. Open Word
2. Type until you come to where you have to insert the ?
3. Go to Font
4. Check Superscript
5. Type TM
6. Go to Font
7. Uncheck Superscript
8. Type the remainder
9. PROFIT!!!
