I know its very common, but i guess i never needed too, but with this board i herd it has some hiccups and to flash it to bios 15.

could somebody kindly link me or explain the easiest way on flashing this mainboard?

*sorry for such a naive question*

it's in section 3-6 in the manual

The FlashMenu is a utility to flash the BIOS in a more easily and quickly way.
To install this utility:
1. Click on the [abit Utility] tab in the
installation menu screen.
2. Click the [FlashMenu] item. The
following screen appears.
3. Follow the prompts on the screen to
complete installation.
4. Execute the FlashMenu by entering the
Windows Menu [Start] ?? [All
Programs] ?? [abit] ?? [FlashMenu]
?? [FlashMenu].
5. This FlashMenu screen appears. You
can easily update the BIOS from
clicking [Update From File], [One
Click LiveUpdate], or [LiveUpdate
Step by Step] button.

so you can update the bios in windows?!

yes sir thats in windows

did you install the abit software if not just downlad the updated utility first🙂

I flash in windows, but I'm incredibly lazy and I love a good excuse to buy new hardware. I've probably done about 10 windows flashes on various motherboards (several brands) with no issues.
