ok, i'm wondering how to do this, i'm sure there's a simple piece of hardware that i can get at fry's or maybe even here....

my wife has a home business (commercial embroidery for small/medium businesses) and has 2 pc's...one is a laptop that she uses for email/internet, etc. that is online. the other is primarily used to drive her embroidery machine, run the books, etc. the latter machine has no internet access as she wants to make very sure there is no way to get the machine infected.

she just bought a canon mp780 and would like to be able to print from either pc. is there a piece of hardare i can buy so the one printer usb can connect to both pc's (without her having to unplug/plug the usb all the time)? will a regular old usb port work with cables running from both pc's into the port with the one cable running out from the port to the printer?

thanks!!!

Most USB printers will work on a USB hub. Install the printer software on both computers, get the right cables, and it should work.
