Question: How can I tell if I have the new I/O Panel on the Antec SX830?

If it's rigid and the same colour as the rest of the back of the case it's the new one. If it's flexible and shiny like tin foil it's the old one.

I ordered this case today from Onvia for 80 bucks free ship.

Is it as great a case as it looks?

It looks like a stand up product......

Even if you have the tin foil looking backplate. It's still very durable. Awhile back, people were complaining that the backpanel were too flimsy. Well, I've try to poke it w/ a pen and it still stand. You can go to their(Antec)'s website and request a new backplate if you need it. The new plate are dull gray and doesn't give away when you press on it. Got my Antec Sx1030 w/ the new plate about a month ago.

Thanks a lot guys. I believe I have the old plate. I will see how well it works and if I have problems I will get a new one from Antec. BTW does anyone know how long it will take to get the new I/O Plate from Antec?

The problem, for me at least, with the old plate, was that the damn thing wasn't straight. It was bent into a sort of curve, and would not budge from that shape. I couldn't plug in my mouse and keyboard because it would be up against the protruding I/O panel.
