Question/Help on a dual monitor

Basically in the description im on my buddies computer with a GTX260...anyways two monitors and one to game one for skype/msn/teamspeak...but when gaming clicking on the second monitor minimizes the game

Is this normal?

Can clicking on teamspeak ever not minimize the game
