Are there MMORPGs on them? I'm not talking about the 360. .

How do you get it online? How expensive is it to maintain an online account?

How long will they continue the original xbox in gaming?

Is phantasy star online still active? Will it be up for a year or so?

1) Only MMORPG for PS2 is Final Fantasy 11.
2) You need an adapter to get online. I think the game has around $15 a month online fee.
3) Um, yes?

PS2 has horrible online support, I wouldn't bother delving into it. Sony implemented it horribly

Wouldn't be surprised if Sony cut all online support for the PS2 soon after PS3 comes out.

Xbox Live is a shining example of console online gaming done right.

you should go for that, if anything at all

There are no MMO's on the original Xbox. They were making True Fantasy Live Online (should be some info on gamespot) but Microsoft canned it. It looked good too, imo...

I don't think xbox has any mmos, but plenty of online games. Or if you just want a lot of gameplay, try morrowind on PC, or neverwinter nights with all of the add ons.

PSO isn't really active anymore. THe new one on the horizon is Phantasy Star Universe:

PSU,

which will be released for the next-gen consoles and PS2, methinks. I'm not sure about regular old Xbox.

The latest issue of EGM goes over the game, you can read up on it at 1up.com

*EDIT* not EGM, but Computer Gaming World, rather.
