Question for you hot deals folks regarding Sears

I'm looking to pick up some tools before the Black Friday Sale at Sears and was wondering what their pricing policy was? I've purchased stuff early, namely electronics, at other stores early and then got a price match on Friday. I'm wondering if Sears would do the same.

TIA,

Sal

I don't believe you can PM To black Friday prices - only way to get a 100% accurate asnwer is to talk to a store manager

No, they won't. Most, if not all, of the Black Friday items will be special items, and the sale prices are only good for those six hours. On a bigger ticket item, you could probably do it, but not the smaller items.

What are you buying?

As only Sears sells Craftsman tools, who would you be price-matching to?

to sears. buy the stuff before, know that you are going to get what you want, then go back and pricematch to the black friday prices.

Not very fair to the folks who get up early on Friday, is that?

I'm going to buy the 248 piece tool set for $150 marked down from $300 and a 3 section tool chest marked down from $640 to $399.

If the items are there beforehand, you may be able to get away with this, but you may also only be able to pricematch during that 6 hour span, at which point you will have an inreasingly difficult time getting a hold of any CS reps.
