WhAt causes these probs when overclocking ?

BSOD
Registry backup routine runs before windows load
Boot but locks at Windows screen

Is it memory, heat or which causes which consistently?
I would like to determine if it is the CPU, or memory, that is limiting me or causing these things to occur, in general. I mean does memory limitation always cause blue screen, heat always lock ups etc...

Prety much anything in your system can cause those errors...I've gotten BSODs from having the CPU overheat, ram clocked too high, CPU clocked too high etc. If you think its a problem with your CPU, check the temp on it and make sure its not too high, or down clock it a little bit...if you think its a RAM problem, set the ram to stock settings and see if it happens again, and work your way up from there...There also could be ALOT of other things causing those errors, problems with sound, video, network card etc.
