I got in on the dimension 9100 + 24" LCD last week. All I really wanted was the LCD, of course. I put up the 9100 for sale here at work. the minimum I really wanted to take was $700 because I just sold my 2005fpw for 500. This would make the 24" LCD basically a free upgrade for me.

I just got an offer for $650 and was wondering if I took it to ebay, would i get significantly more? I'm not a big fan of Ebay, but don't want to short-change myself.

the biggest pro would be that I wouldn't have to ship anything - he'll pick it up here at work.

major specs:
2.8 Ghz w/Dual Core 800fsb
Win MCE2005
256 Mb PCI-E X600 SE
160 Raid (2X160 Gb)
1 Gb DDR2 RAM
Single Drive: 16x DVD+/-RW with double layer

should i take the offer?

If you got a buyer for $700 on ebay, how much of that would you lose to fees? How much would you lose if the buyer turns around and screws you and you lose both the computer and the money? Search here for a bit to find out it does happen.

if u r thinking of selling it for 700 on ebay vs 650 here....i would take the 650 instantly.
you will rack up a lot on ebay fees AND paypal fees. it would come out to be close to 50. and shipping etc.. is all just added hassle.

I'd take it...it's a sure fire thing, no need to worry about Ebay fees or Paypal fees...no shipping to deal with...

That's a great deal for $650...

OOC- what was the price for the 9100 + 2405 deal? Just curious...
