Question for X1900XT/XTX owners

Even my 9600xt run WOW without any problem at 1280x1024( something like that).
If you only / mostly play WOW, its not going to help much.

WOW is mostly CPU limited + bendwidth limited. Most likely the slow down is due to the WOW server.

Dig in to your wallet, there must be some doh there enough for at least a 6800 GS?

😀 wanted 7800GS, but its just so not worth it...
I'm gonna wait for one of those Dell deals/price mistakes and replace the whole machine.

AA isn't really necessary at that high of a resolution. It's almost unnoticeable at 1600x1200 for me. I easily run WoW at 1600x1200 with every option turned on and maxed out with a X850XT, just no AA, and it runs at 60FPS unless I'm in a major city along with half of the other players on the server.

not sure if you have seen the 2405 in action in games but 1920x1200 on a 24" LCD does have very noticable jaggies. Even 2X AA has them but IMO it is acceptable Personally I can't run many games with 2xAA with my Video card at 1920x1200 but I really wish I could.
