I was just wondering what kind of performance hit I'll get if I was to move from win98 to win2k? Also how does the voodoo5 driver behave under win2k? compatability? Benchmarks and numbers would be helpul. Thx for your reply.
 
i had one like 8 months ago, and well the last driver before they got sold, was just as fast as the win98 one
 
I've been using mine in 2k for sometime now and the performance isn't noticable at all. If you got 80 frames in 9x for example then you will most likely end up with 78 frames in 2k, TDFX drivers are just that good.
 
That thread was only dependent on what the system profile was, what problems he may see is not what everyone else may see also.
