Ok so probably not a Company of Heroes problem and probably not a Vista "problem".... hell it's probably just a user problem but I dont know to get this to stop. Just built a new pc and installed Vista for the first time. Loaded CoH and was fine ran it a few times.... then had alt tabbed back and forth to Asus's pc probe here and there to check system temps on my overclock and now I find that the game will only open to a large full screen sized window with border and title bar. Tried setting the shortcut on the desktop to maximize and that just makes the border and title smaller. The window has no button on the top left other than close and the windows toolbar and the window taskbar maximize and min are greyed out. Noticed the 1.71 patch includes a fix called - Window maximize button switches windowed mode back to full screen. But I have installed all patches including the most recent.
Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but same result. Stalker for instance loads fine in full screen
