question for TI-86

you know what would be cool? a program for a ti 86 that makes it look like a palm. that would be awesome

now for my question, can you do the mean median and mode on a TI-86?

I know that my TI-89 has a statistics flashapp that does that stuff. I used to have a TI-86, and I don't recall it having those capabilities. You would need to make a table of values to find averages. I don't think the 86 does that. If you have a TI-Graph Link cable, you can may find some software that can help you at ticalc.org.

Put your data into a list and run 2nd|Stat|Calc|OneVa <list name>.

That's one of the things I liked about the TI-83: all the functions were fully labeled - no 5 character garbage.
