Last summer McDondalds had the Mac Jr. I thought it was a great sandwhich. I was wondering if their are any plans to bring back the $1 Mac Jr.

If you are being serious, please elaborate the reasons (other than it being not healthy).

If it is edible then I don't care what they put in it. Dog, cat, it is all good.

when epidemics hit, I'll be the one with the stronger, faster, leaner immune system from eating McDonalds, and you'll be the one lying in bed. hah! :p

I worked at McDonalds when I was 15 and was promptly fired after only 2 weeks of employment.

My skin cleared up ;)

I worked at mcdonalds for a bit when I was 16.
There were so many rumors about the beef that it wasn't even funny.

From it not being digestable, to it being like 65% laxitives. All bullsh!t.

I have never worked fast food in my life, thank Gawd. The closest I have come was when I was a floor manager at a roller rink and helped out behind the snack bar counter when they got hit with a crush of people.

Oh, quit with your freakin BS.
I'm a store manager at a McDonalds (as alot of you already know). The meat is 100% beef.
Any stupid rumors you've heard about McDonalds is just that......stupid BS rumors.

Mcdonalds uses some of the top quality for their food.
Instead of using generic brands, McDonalds uses Heinz, Hellmanns, Minute Maid, Nestle, Quaker, etc....
They also have one of the strictest food safety procedures for their restaurants.(Of course its up to the employees to follow them.)

As for the Mac Jr, that was a regional promotion thing to test out how popular a product is.
They do this all the time, if a product sells well in a region, then they will spread it to the whole country.
McDonalds want to focus on a CORE menu , and then bring out a specialty sandwich every so often.
McRibs, Chicken strips, Flatbreads are items that they like to rotate every so often.

The $1 menu is here to stay....the corporation is very high on them.
Their purpose is to keep bringing customers back and the $1 menu does just that.

Any question about McDonalds, I cam pretty much answer them for you.

The MacJr. is still around here... some stores still have them, some don't. I recommend you try more than 1 store. I always go back to the ones that still have them cause that and the McChicken (also sporadic) are the best values for $1.

I only wish they could make the Fish Filet $1. CTRAIN, can you tell us how much it actually costs McDs for that sandwich ?

McDonalds rules!! expecially those scrumptious Bacon, Egg and Cheese bagels.

Is it a company rule that if you are in the drive thru, and after you pay and receive your drink that sometimes you must pull up and wait on them to bring your food out to you. This is fine except it seems as though i am always sitting in my car waiting with my drink and no straw for it is in the bag that they walk out to the car, :)

Sadly I have been to all of the McDonalds near me, none of them have it. I dont see why someone would buy a Big Mac if they sell Mac Jr. Because a Big Mac is 2.30 where I live. That was more than twice the cost of a Mac Jr.

Also CTRAIN How much did it cost to make a Mac Jr compared to a Big Mac.

Arch Enemy.....
Neither Spurlock, 33, nor the three doctors who agreed to monitor his health during the experiment were prepared for the degree of ruin it would wreak on his body. Within days, he was vomiting up his burgers and battling with headaches and depression. And his sex drive vanished.

When Spurlock had finished, his liver, overwhelmed by saturated fats, had virtually turned to pate. "The liver test was the most shocking thing," said Dr Daryl Isaacs, who joined the team to watch over him. "It became very, very abnormal."
