Alright, I wanna get an LCD monitor from CompUSA (I have a $50 Gift Card there) and I also have an Office Depot Advantage $50 cash card that I earned from last quarter (OD doesn't have anything I want). It says on the back of the card that it can't be redeemed for cash.

I was wondering if I could just buy $50 worth of crap from an OfficeDepot store, then go to another OD store and return it for cash with my receipt...or would they put it back on another gift card?
 
You might find a straight trade for the GC you want in the forum here, or just sell it, usually get 80-85% of value.

Better yet, find another hot deal at OD, ebay it, then pocket the cash. I try to use this system when possible.
