Question for those who know about farms and crops

ok this is a weird question but i'm doing research for a film shoot location. I have a script that calls for a location where they have wheat fields that extend up to about shoulder level (5'6"), and i'm trying to find a crop field besides wheat that could substitute for it. I was thinking corn, because corn has high stalks, but can you think of any other crop that might work? Thanks

I lived for a while in the Washington wheat country, and I never saw ANY of it get 5-1/2' tall...MAYBE 3'-3-1/2', not much taller...You'll need corm to get that much height.

You've got some abnormal crops if you're thinking wheat. Corn is the only common crop I can think of off-hand that would get to shoulder level.

And as for spacehead... hay and straw shouldn't be that high, either.

<edit> I've lived on beef, dairy, and crop farms for all but 2 years of my life.
