Question for those running Win2k and Direct X 8.0a

Please run Dxdiag and look under where it saids DirectX Version:

Does it actually say like DirectX 8.0a (xxxxx.xxxx) ?

or does it say like on my system :

DirectX 8.0 (4.08.00.0400)


I remember when I had DX 8.0A installed on Win9X it had the A by the version. Just wondering.

I show exactly the same version number: 8.0 (4.08.00.0400).
