Question for those running an XP1600+

I want to know what kind of Seti@Home work unit times you are getting while running at stock. I just built a new rig and want to be able to compare to see what others are getting.

Specs:
Xp1600+
256mb Pc2100
ECS k7s5a
maxtor 20.0gb

I've been running Seti on two machines with XP1600+ CPUs

The one is on an Epox 8KHA+ mobo and has been averaging around 3:44 per WU
The other is a Shuttle AK31 mobo and has been averaging around 3:56 per WU.

The Shuttle mobo and XP 1600+ are in my server machine which processes significantly more requests for CPU usage (IIS, FTP Server, SetiQueue, etc.) so I suspect that is why the WU times are 12 minutes higher.

Hope that information helps!

I hate you, Evil. 🙂

Those are about the same times I get on an XP1800+ with a FSB of 144!

Durn AMD chipset. :|

I average 3:30 on my XP1800+ on a gigabyte ga7dx. That is running at stock.

Here are some systems with the average times per SetiQueue. All have Crucial (Micron) DDR SDRAM running at CAS2.

3h16m KT266A EPOX 8KHA+ @ 1582 MHz (OC'ed w/151 MHz FSB) Win98SE

3h24m Amd761 EPOX 8K7A+ @ 1544 MHz (OC'ed w/147 MHz FSB) WinXP Pro

3h57m SiS735 ECS K7S5A @ 1400 MHz (Not OC'ed) Win98SE

4h07m Amd761 EPOX 8K7A @ 1368 (1.2 GHz Tbird, but on a DDR based system)Win98SE

The WinXp system tends to get VLAR WUs, while the others don't.

Hope this helps.

in the stock category all with xp1800's all with crucial 256/cas2:
3:28 8kha+ winME
3:33 8kha+ winME
3:46 k7s5a w2Kpro (this is getting all the vlar's) and is the tv in my office.

I have 2 systems with XP 1600+ running stock on ECS K7S5a - both with WinXP and 512Mb of Crucial PC2100 set to Ultra memory timings in bios. Both systemd average about 3:50 or so per WU

I have a 1600+ on a k7s5a with 512 of PC133 that I use everyday for whatever I do on the computer at home. My average is shown as 4:47.
