Marketing, what a waste of a degree if I had only known in college. I would have majored in Engineering, Graphic Design or anything other than Marketing. Maybe I will get my Masters and become a college professor in Marketing.

EDIT: At least as a college professor it will have nothing to do with Sales.

I majored in applied mathematics, and it's ok although I _might_ be happier if I had completed my degree in computer science. It does require much more effort, concentration and persistence than I had when I first started out in it.

I have a double major: chemistry and biology with a good background in Microbiology and Physiology. I took the classes in which I was interested.

Yes, I am happy. If I went back to school, I would take the same courses.

I have a BS in Civil Engineering and a few weeks ago I passed the PE exam. I don't regret the education at all. I can always get work with this degreee, especially with the PE certification. But it isn't the most exciting. I'm 32 and I'm just now forming some ideas of what I want to do with the next decade.

I plan on a graduate degree, but not in engineering. Maybe law. Maybe business. I might write some fiction books.

biochem..no way in hell would I do that again. Thank god...I don't have to find a job in it. I think I'd do philosophy or english. Something non science.

it doesn't take long to become a pilot, depending on what you want to do/fly.

Can you elaborate on what's the future for a economic major?
My grades right now is too sucky to get into Business admin major, and I might have to choose economic major. But I am not too sure how Economic major can help me get a job?

Folks like you confuse me. You have a degree in Mech-E and you're going for an MBA. I really don't see the transition here...

Then again...
I got/will get a degree in Geography and would have like to had a degree in Bus-Ad. (Geography was a minor that changed to major after failing at Econ)

I can't help you much.. it was a long time ago. single degree in econ qualified me to do most anything that required "a college degree" but not much of anything that required a specific one. that was enough for the then, I worked for the state for 5 years, had a baby when my retirment was vested and have been "mommy" for 19 years. that's why I'm happy.

Computer Science, yes, CS.

I was programming before college so I already knew that I enjoyed it and was reasonably good at it.

I do think occaisionally about going back for either a PhD or teaching certificate (for HS) one of these years to do the Jeri Ryan character "help the kids learn" bit, but that's just one of the 500 things I need an army of clones for.
