(Because ethnically, I AM German and also because it is an interesting language, and nicely related to English. And because while I DID take French for years, I hated it, and I refuse to learn Spanish for my own reasons).

The only drawback to taking German was that it was taught in comparison to English grammar. The only problem was that I never learned English grammar.

German's are literal ninnies and the best engineers in the world. Got to love a people who haven't changed their mindset in eons. 🙂
