Question for those in relationships regarding email privacy

I don't see a problem respecting each other's privacy. I wouldn't feel comfortable with someone (even my SO) looking through my e-mails whenever they feel like it. It just seems disrespectful to me, like they should have trust in me. Others feel differently and think it's hiding something to not share passwords. To each their own.
