Question for those from South Dakota :)

Hope the title and sub-title explains most of the part.

Yes, my dad loves to listen what the others say, and has a bad habit of having a dream of there even though he's never been there. He used to put himself in a fantasy that he will be so success if he once open a restaurant there. And this time, it's South Dakota.

So.. here are questions for SD guys. (Especially you guys near Rapid City)

1. Well, do you like sushi or other Japanese/Korean food? (lol)
2. Currently, are there many Japanese/Korean restaurants?
3. If there are many, are they success?

Well, pretty much those for now, I guess. Any input will be extremely helpful, because this decision will be a matter of saving 10K for moving cost to there, or not.

I honestly don't think SD is cosmopolitan enough for a sushi place. The whole state is pretty rual.

Doing a search on Dexonline.com for ASIAN FOOD in Rapid, 4 results come up. All of them are Chinese food. There doesnt seem to be any Japanese/Korean places.

Doing a search on SUSHI came up with a ton, so I didnt look to far into it.

My sister in law lives in Rapid City, I can ask her about it if you would like.

p.s. Even though there appears to be a lot of sushi out there, if I remember correctly my bro in-law who loves sushi stated that there were not any good sushi places out there. He made this comment as he snarfed down good sushi from the japanese place we were eating at. 😉
