Question for the Women

What do the ladies think of a guy who likes to pay for everything on dates. Personally if I ask a girl out on a date I feel obligated to pay for things. Movie and dinner for example, I'll pick up the tab.

Very sweet of him, gentlemanly. A ladylike woman will insist on picking up the tab at times, or arranging her share of the dates though. If your date doesn't do this, it's a warning sign.

There is a line, tho, that you don't want to cross. My aunt's husband insists that she stay in the car until he can come around and open the door for her. He will use the remote to keep locking the door so that she can't get out until he gets there. 😕

Dumb because he's, well, paying for everything.

Smart because a lot of women eventually feel obligated to pay him back in OTHER ways much quicker than if they we're doing dutch all the time. It's that male provider thing, and gals, don't deny it because there is some truth to it.

Then there's the low life guys who play destitute and make their date pay for everything while she complains, and then she has 3 kids with him. Haven't figured that one out yet.

If he insists ALL THE TIME even when I offer I would get uncomfortable. We both have jobs so we both should pony up. He can pay more often than not if he insists, but he should allow me to pay also.

guys that pay for dates are suckers. Once you've gotten the goodies its ok to reward her for good behavior.

General rule of thumb i use is would I be spending this money on a random dude I just met? If no then i wont spend it on her either.
