Question for the webhosting savvy.

How long does it usually take for a website DNS updated through namecheap.com normally take to become fully propagated?

I'm hoping it's quick but I have told a bunch of users it was 12-48 hours. New P4 server is GOOOD. 😀

48 hours at most.

some of my friends could see my site after 12 hours or so .. i didn't get it till around 48.

Generally allow 24-72 hours.

Anywhere from 4 - 24 hours.

One time here's what happened
8PM registered new domain with namecheap.com and updated DNS
12Pm propogated

4 hours!

Usually I'd say 12 hours is the normal.

BTW I think your forums have already propogated here (Portland, Oregon) according to domainwhitepages.com
