Question for the veteran overclockers

Heres the Q. I got my memory to hit 300MHz (DDR600). It's OCZ Platinum with TCCD chips.

I had to set the timings all the way up to 2.5-5-5-10. Is it even worth running it at DDR600 with such late timings. I can do 250MHz at 2.5-3-4-7. Which would yield me more performance?

I couldn't get post with it at CAS 3. I'll try again. 2.85v, max my board will do.. keeps the TCCD happy best I can tell.
