the b/f and i live together for almost 6 yrs.
romance is not the same as it was when we were dating.
most girls would be offended by that, i think, especially if they are young.

but i would be so glad to have the time to spend with the b/f, i would think it was the bestest thing he ever did, if he made plans for us to spend the day doing anything together.

Just explain to her that you can spend the whole day together relaxing out on the water.

I guess I shouldn't try it with high school girls but I never thought about it til now. That'd be the ideal date because you're away from everything else and you two can just talk and relax without spending any money.

If you didn't trust them enough to go fishing, I highly doubt you would be dating them.

I'm just trying to think of uncommon ideas for dates here, going to dinner or the movies or places like that just seem too trite and boring.

I really think it depends on what kinda girl she is. Some will really do anything in order to spend time with you, provided she really really likes you. Others that dont have much of an emotional stake in you will prolly blow you off. I guess there could be a "fishing test" to see if the girl truly likes you or not...

Yes, I have an 8' Brunswick in my garage, along with ice hockey and a foosball table.

(Wife only plays ice hockey with me).
