Question for the F@H crowd

I am thinking about picking up a Mac Pro 8 Core system. It comes standard with the ATI HD 2600XT. My main project is Rosetta@Home, however if I could throw the GPU towards F@H I would like to. I looked at the download page and if I am reading it right, the GPU client is windows only. I would like to confirm this. Thanks.

Stanford currently has no plans to write a Mac GPU client. The Mac ATI drivers lack support for the code they need.

I believe Linux is the same answer right now, except it's much more likely (and feasible) for someone to write a Linux package based on open-source code.

Crazee,

Why don't you put that system to work running F@H? Rosetta and F&H are all good. 🙂

We can help out both projects. 😉

/I could do the same with one of my rigs/ 🙂
