can u suggest some good note taking software for me?

I'm looking for something that will allow me to add notes to documents, such as PDF, or other formats. i was just considering ACrobat, or Word, but wanted to know other hcoices out there.

thanks

nah, i mean for a notebook where i can add notes to downloadable documents, either as plain text, document format, or acrobat format

My note taking software consists of a mechanical pencil (0.5) and notebook paper in 3 ring binders.

Same here. And for electronic stuff I usually just print it out and high;ight/underline/etc as necessary. It's just so much faster and easier than trying to format in specific ways.

i would rather have everything digitally.

Best way to do it is exactly what they are saying, plus reviewing notes. You review the notes by typing them into your computer when you get back from class...you would be surprised how much it helped me last year. Unless you are a decent typer and can format a word document really quickly, or the professor talks really slow, you are kinda SOL.

thats exactly why i was considering Acrobat. i can insert notes whereever i see fit, but didn't know if there was something better out there.
