Question for St. Louis Folk

Yea, everyone can see my username... Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here can tell me a few things about when Cardinal tickets go on sale. I'd like to first know an approximation of when they go on sale each year. Also, what ticket company do they use? And, are there any special rules for how many tickets can be purchased when they first go on sale?

I want to try and avoid the "surprises" that can happen like when I tried to get some Yankee tickets last year... And for those who don't know, mlb's websites rarely if ever post any relavent information regarding ticket sales.

I bought tickets to a pirates game over the phone last year. I went to the park, put my credit card into the pickup ticket machine, and it spit out 3 tickets for me. It's not really that hard.

I'll toss this question back up for the day people around here.

What I want to do is purchase tickets on the first day they go on sale, and want to know if anyone knows some general idea about when that is, and if there are any special rules for first day ticket purchases (example, maybe limit 4 seats per game). And it would help to know what ticket company they use. Cubs & Brewers use Tickets.com, which is absolutely terrible for internet purchases on the first day, whereas the Yankees use Ticketmaster who has much better servers and can easily handle massive traffic.

Things seem to be in the air as far as 2006 tickets, except for season tickets.

I think all you can do is check out the situation in a few months.
