Question for someone who works at COMPUSA!

The release date for Halflife2 on the compusa computers says "IO." I'm hoping that means incoming order. What does IO mean? Often times, like movies, stores will get them in advance, but are not to sell them before the release date.

"I" something does mean it's been ordered or something. I'm not an expert on the antique billing system compusa uses but I do know that A01 means in stock N.. or D.. something means discontinued (they might refuse to return discontinued items or be willing to sell them at some discount)

No one in the store will necc. know *when* it will arrive. They may give you sort of round a bout guesses, but it will likely just be a guess.


And oh -- someone else has offered to hire me -- god willing I won't be working here in a week or two 🙂
