Clark, Lana, Chloe, Pete are all ~17... I know for a fact that Lana is supposed to be <18 due to last nites episode.

Lex, I'm not real sure. I would guess 28-30.

It's funny. You have 20-somethings playing teenagers and people wonder why they have confused notions of image, etc. Many think they're supposed to look like the people on TV...

Didn't they start last season as freshmen? You mean they skip 2 years of school?

They bought class rings a few episodes ago. I believe they are either Jrs. or Srs.

Most of them are the same age 16~18 because they are all in high school. Lex is a few years older though, I saw him drinking last night on the show, so he must be 21+ or the networks would have a fit.

Class ring was just a plot device, to get Clark to go "evil". They did start last year as frosh, so I would imagine they're sophomores now. Need the show to have at least four years before they have to worry about post high school issues.

But didn't they just go to prom when last season ended?

It was called the "Spring Formal" and in a small school like that, I'm sure everyone is invited.

ROFL, can you say 30 year old HS students. My soon-to-be-if-all-works-out girlfriend loves that show.

(PS- wish me luck)

last season they were freshmen (except whitney, he was a senior) and now they are all sophmores. as far as the ring thing, we ordered class rings sophmore year at my high school as well. they are all 15 or 16 i believe. lex, he was 9 in 1989 so that makes him...22 if he's already had his b-day, lol.

*edit* as for the "prom" they all called it the spring formal to just dance around it and act like it was ok that they were all there i suppose.

If they're sohpomores, they should be 15, not 17. Unless they're all really stupid and keep failing grades.

The one show about high school kids that I remember having casted people who actually look like high school kids was Freaks and Geeks, but I guess it got cancelled....

Quick question: who the hell was that doctor last night anyway? He looks really really familiar - either from another episode of Smallville or some other tv show. And why'd they leave it where the last you see of the doctor is when Lex shows up and 0wns him?

I'm too lazy to look it up on IMDb, but I'm pretty sure it was the Cigarette-Smoking Man from The X-Files.

does their age matter? I dont think so coz KK is so cute. She's like the duct tape for the show.
