Question for Razer Boomslang 2000 users

All right, my razer is plugged into a USB port currently. The mouse works, but when I install the new XP drivers and go into the razer configuration thingy, nothing that I do in there effects the mouse. For example: If I change which action is assigned with which button it does nothing, and the "On-The-Fly-Sensitivity" does not work, something that I desperately want to use. Anyone know what could be wrong?
 
Yes I have the latest version, 3.0.01. Anyone who uses their boomslang with XP have any advice?

O ya and yes, this mouse blows away any optical.:🙂
