Question for people with DI-614+

I bought two of these a while back, but I had to return them, cause both of them decreased my overall internet bandwidtch considerably, as in my downloads where cut in half. I am now using a DI-713P, but need more routers for a different location. Seeing as they do not make my router anymore, I am looking for feedback on the new Dlink. Thanks in advance.

I have the di 614 and love it. Havent had any problems. Didnt know they stopped making them , actually can good prices on the combo deals.

yea, i have one too. i like it. i think they stopped making it because of the new 802.11g stuff. only problem i had was with port forwarding.

I'm currently using D-Link DI-714P+ and it seems to work much better than Di-614+, which I had before. Plus I also have a print server now 🙂

Using 614+ here. Download speeds are identical with or without this router (180 KB/sec, which is my selected service limit) here.

Had some problems with one of my 614+ units (I have 1 at home, 1 at work)

Seems the 2.18 firmware released last week fixed a ton of issues with stability and range. No problems here anymore.

Only problem I've had is getting VPN to work.

Everything else is fine.

My download speeds are about the same, but things are a little less "peppy" with it then without it.

Download speeds on mine are pretty much the same as what they were before I had it, around 350+KB a sec. Even the wireless is close to that. 🙂
