seriously, my question is: have the WS games in Florida been like the series against Chicago? i.e. there are just as many fans of the opposing team (Yankees) as there are fans of the Marlins so that whenever something good happens for the Yankees the crowd cheers just as loudly as when something good happens for the Fish?
 
because it is cool and hip to like the yankees and a lot of yuppies like to like the yankees. the only team that probably has a large national fan base and sells more merchandise is the oakland raiders, and that's just b/c it is gangsta to like the raiders, and every kid now days thinks he's a real gangsta.
