I mean the PSU's with the potentiometer in the back allowing manual adjustment of fan speed. Do you see any difference in noise between the low and high settings? Also, which model are you running and is it loud at any setting?

I saw a review of the 350w model HERE which said:

"There's really no significant noise difference between the low and high settings of the rheostat-controlled 80mm rear fan.."

Just wondering if anyone else can verify this. thx

 
That statement is decidedly false. I forget the model number of mine (300W, green box), but the difference between low and high is quite noticeable. I tried to record a .wav file for you, but my mic isn't sensitive enough. My ears are, though.
