I understand that mortgage rates fluctuate from day to day and even intra-day, but wondering if there is any evidence that mortgage rates have bottomed and might start going up based upon the reallocation of funds from the bond market to equities being reported on tv today.

Any mortgage brokers out there that have up to date, live data?

Does it look like mortgage rates will start creeping up going forward?

If so, might get some potential home buyers who are wavering off fence as they see their dream home getting too expensive in terms of monthly payment.

Yes

@Iceberg...no. HELOCs are generally tied to prime though.

It is an amazing time to buy/refi as far as rates right now, but it wont last forever.

Historically, 30 year fixed was about 1.5 - 1.75% above yield on 10 year Treasury.

There was just a segment on CNBC's Fast Money about potential large asset allocation trade out of bonds and into equities. Video clip should be up on CNBC website about an hour from now.
