There should be a selection or a map in a persons profile that tells people what time zone they live in. That would be very helpfull.


We have nothing to do with the software.

Why? It's pretty much common sense that a person living on the west coast is going to choose Pacific Standard Time and that a person living on the east coast is going to choose Eastern Time. Not to mention that even if you get it wrong you can just try again.

EDIT: Or you could do a Google for "time zone map".

I dont understand am I just missing out on somthing or did I ask there to BE a Section for which time zone or a map of were they are in there profile under there name(just which nuber it is)

Oh, I just read your post wrong. I thought that you wanted there to be a time zone map in the profile section as to make it easier to select your timezone. Nevermind then.

If a person is honest about where they are in the profile, then one should have enough knowledge of geography to get an idea (within the US) which time zone they are in.

If they put in a false location, then the timezone is worthless anyhow.

There are those members in Europe that are usually on Eastern Time -5 to -7

Those in Australia are so upside down😛 that they can not usually tell the difference between day and night anyway

Those on the Asian Pacifi rim are close to Eastern +12.

Knowledge of timezones and some common sense will solve such issues for general purposes.

i do. in our profile it lets us choose what time zone hour we are in. he wants to know if that can be placed in our profile so when someone clicks on it, it lists our heatware and time zone, and post count, etc. etc.
