I was reading a book on the Holocaust the other day. It said something about parents forcing their children to eat even though it was Yom Kippur (sp?) or some other time of fasting. Which would be worse according to Judaism law, not honoring your mother/father (a commandment) or not following the Jewish tradition of fasting during this time?
