Question for HVAC Engineers

Sure. Any book that covers the basics of the refrigeration cycle would be beneficial. Taking a single HVAC class as an elective would work too.

Check out all the books on Amazon. Do a search for HVAC and read the reviews.

Doesn't your scholl have a recommended reading list or something?

HVAC is a very broad subject. So many different systems and processes...

edro: I plan on taking HVAC design jr year, as i am just a freshman 🙂
dartworth: I'll try that also, the reason i'm asking about the ASHRAE bookstore is because they are a well-known society with a solid reputation, plus i became a student member for free after attending an annual meeting in Chicago so i get discount haha

yes, but at least at my alma mater, the ARE program offered dedicated coursework for focused disciplines. The ME track did not.
