Question for HR experts/Recruiters

I just had an exhaustive pre-employment background check completed. The criminal and credit checks were fine.

I did, however, miss some starting/graduating dates for my degrees by a month but the years were correct. (May instead of June for example). All other info such as majors and degrees earned were correct.

I also messed up a starting date at an old employer by exactly one year; I think the confusion arose because the company simply changed names and I didn't pay attention when filling out my online profile.

Are theses red flags or minor items? Either way I'll call my recruiter tomorrow and ask her or be ready to explain the variances.

UPDATE: FWIW you guys were correct, they were minor issues and quickly cleared up with one phonecall.

No issue. At worst a discrepancy like that will delay the check by a day or two. It will not cause your check to beflagged in any way. Can't hurt to let them know about the start date though.

Thanks guys. Puts me at a little more ease, though going back to a large formal corporate environment after 8 years of working in casual/small business atmosphere is a cause for concern.
