Beats me why people love Florida so much, its like the trashier down rent version of Southern California.

I've decided not to buy. It is very likely I'll want to move into something bigger in the next 5-7 years, which makes buying a place now an exceptionally poor investment. It's doubtful any townhouse is going to appreciate much at all in that timeframe, and I'd be lucky to make back my investment.

A better thing for me to do is to rent and save up my money to buy a place outright or almost outright when I'm ready. Can't look at homes as an investment that you can flip in a few years anymore.
