In a shop, I have a receptacle that sees frequent use (cords plugged in and pulled out frequently) Commercial type receptacles last roughly for 1-1-1/2 yrs before they get sloppy and the plugs/cords fall out easily. My question is: Would a hospital grade receptacle last longer than an industrial grade receptacle?

1 to 1.5 years? Since when

My residential receptacles last WAY longer than that (I used them often).

How about just getting a strip?
